Myself and Jane Howard have been sharing the Polmeor Studio and exhibiting and creating work inspired by nature. The Pan Project was created by Wildlife Artist Ian Griffiths and the National Trust.

In the next few days I will update this page with more info.

New exhibition at the North Light Gallery.

I am delighted to be taking part in an exciting new exhibition called Art4Cards at the North Light Gallery in Huddersfield. The exhibition will run from the 23rd of May to the 21st of June.

16 different artists will be exhibiting their work which will include painting, ceramics, textiles photography, printmaking and jewellery. 10 percent of all the profits from the show will go to help support the work of Community Cards and the Huddersfield Welcome Centre.

Community cards recycle old greetings cards to create new ones to raise money for charity.

The Huddersfield Welcome Centre offers practical support, including food, household items and warm clothes to individuals and families in crisis.

The gallery and cafe are open to the public every Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

{Please note the gallery is not open to the public mon-fri.}

I will be exhibiting new original artwork and prints for sale. My work will be in the cafe so you can enjoy a nice slice of cake at the same time which is always a bonus.

Storm Clouds

This weeks picture for Illustration Friday @ifri . The word this week was Storm and this mono print was copied from a sketch done during a storm my hands were freezing and the paper was wet so resulting sketch was not brilliant but good to be on the spot. We must all suffer, even just a tiny bit, for our art.
