The Pan project.

For the last week I have been at the Polmeor studio on the Lizard Point in Cornwall.

I have been taking part in the Pan project which allows artists who are inspired by nature to exhibit their work in a tiny studio right at the end of the Lizard point In Cornwall {UK}. Throughout the summer different Artist’s will be exhibiting in the studio and creating images inspired by the beautiful coastal scenery. I have been sharing the residency with Jane Howard who is wonderful landscape painter.

The studio belongs to wildlife artist Ian Griffiths and his lovely work is on display all year.

The National Trust has wildlife enthusiasts on hand to point out exciting bird and sea life they have some great telescopes set up right on the point and yesterday 6 or 7 seals were sunbathing on a nearby rock. The studio is easy to find It is between 2 national trust information huts right on the lizard point very close to a cafe which serves lovely food and has a tremendous view out to sea. Their is a large National Trust car park nearby.

I will add some pictures later.

Their is no phone or internet signal on the point so I have been off the grid for a week.

Some photos of my stay at the Lizard.
